It's not about you once you decide you're going to sell your home. Everything that you end up doing to your property should be based on what can I do to improve my house to go to the market to get as many buyers in the door that fall in love with your property. Now if you get a designer in and they choose paint tones and maybe you don't like the paint color or you get staging done and you don't like the staging it's really not about you.
You're not living in the home it's for somebody else so you really have to step back and think of the bigger picture when getting your house ready to go to the market.
