When managing your investment properties, skill you're going to need to have is to be really good at communication. Communication is everything. When owning rental properties, period, you cannot be shy.
You need to be able to talk to all types of different people and be able to address situations when they're very stressful. You have to be a very good communicator. And if you don't have that skill, you might want to think about having some type of partnership with somebody that is good at the communication side of things.
And maybe you take on a different role because if you're shy and quiet and timid, things are going to go sideways really quick when you own investment properties. So keep that in mind.
