What about the termites? We got a termite inspection done and the house needs to be tented. We typically will do the tenting at the close of escrow, but here's the deal.
You could tent the house, get rid of the termites, and then within a year have termites again. It's not a problem, you can get rid of them. I think the only ones that you want to pay attention to more so are subterranean termites.
So periodically you should do a termite inspection, find out if there's anything going on, but termite inspection doesn't just cover termites. There's anything water related, dry rot, anything to that nature on a report. So it's good to do one periodically, but your house ain't gonna fall down if you got termites.
It's not a problem. Termite company can get rid of them and you will move on. However, you're gonna get them again.
They're gonna come.
