Having that needy tenant is a good thing. Here's why. Your needy tenant is a great tenant.
In my experience of investing over the years, the tenants that are always the ones calling in any type of repair or want paint touch-ups on the walls because of scuffs, I have found that have been the best tenants to have. Where other ones that have stayed in my property for over a year and don't call in any type of repairs, those are the ones you have to look out for because usually what happens is they're afraid to call in because they think that if they call in repair issues that you're gonna end up raising the rent on them down the road. And so things that were really of a small issue turn into bigger issues where I think the tenants that are constantly calling in small repairs here and there, I am totally fine with that because at the end of the day, once they move out, there's less things for me to have to do and there's not as many surprises.
