Steven, are all private money lenders made equal?
[Stephen Husted] (0:02 - 0:48)
I don't think so. Sometimes what you have to look for in a private lender or hard money lender, one, you got to get along with them. They have to be skilled at what they do.
I'm looking for the lender who can make the transaction smooth. And so they're not all created equal. Some of them are doing it part time.
Some just got in. Some not in for the right reasons. So you want to partner with the right lender that is basically working with other investors and pulling volume and has experience, knows how to think out of the box.
And I know when you and I first got together, we had that little confusion with that person. But then after we got it together, it was a smooth transaction. And that doesn't mean that it's always going to be easy.
There's always issues that come up, but it's the way those issues are handled that makes the big difference. And I think with your lender, it's all about relationships. So who you work with matters.
They're not all created equal.

I love it. Making sure that you build relationships with individuals that you know and trust is key to making sure that at the end of the day, you can focus on the execution. Well, you'll let us finance a deal for you.
